Deutsche Umlaute und UnicodeDecode-Error in Add-On Products ?

Hallo,

in einigen Komponenten bekomme ich einen UnicodeDecode-Fehler, wenn ich
in Titel oder Beschreibungsfelder Umlaute einsetze.
Gibt es eine Möglichkeit eigenständig diesen Fehler zu beheben, als nur
einen BugReport - hier an die Entwickler von Questionnaire - zu
schreiben bzw. kann der Default-Codec von 'ascii' umgestellt werden ?
