Easy POST example for Plone to handle POST data

Hi all,

I am in need of an example which shown how Plone 2.1 can handle data
which ist send to a script on the same Plone server.

For example, I want to post to a (python)script available in the ZMI.
The python script then should do something with the POST data, like
computing / storing data.

I found no valid ressource as google and search terms about plone, POST
and other topics do not reveal any useful information.

So, if you have worked with POST-data in Plone, please give me a hint.
