Du kannst mal beim Buildout -vvv drann hängen und schauen welche Version er sich versucht zu ziehen. Pinne über die versions am besten das Paket auf eine feste Version, das ist im Allgemeinen eh zu empfehlen, um Überraschungen bei Updates usw zu vermeiden.
