(no subject)

Hi,

I would like to use ParsedXML and products depending on it like zNote.
Unfortunately I can not use special characters like German Umlauts. After checking
the code I found out that the parser can handle other encodings than the
default US-ASCII. I also changed that in the source of parsedXML to use Latin-1
hard wired. But you can imagine that this can not be the solution. 
Is there a solid way to use other encodings in parsedXML that will work of
course also with products using parsedXML?
