Because of security issues with CMF 1.3.1, we are issuing a new version of
Plone. This is a highly recommended upgrade.

There is a security problem with CMF 1.3.1, and we recommend that
everybody either download this release of Plone, or - if you're running
older versions of Plone on production servers, and want to postpone
migration to the latest version until later - download the fixed CMF 1.3.2
 from Zope Corporation:

http://cmf.zope.org/download/CMF-1.3.2

and install it on your existing sites.

We have also prepared Windows and Mac OS X installers for Plone 1.0.5 that
include the updated CMF. These can be found on our download page - please
update your installations as soon as possible.

There have been no reported exploits of the security hole, but it is
advised that you upgrade your installations.

In addition to the updated CMF 1.3.2, Plone 1.0.5 also includes some
smaller bug fixes to Plone itself, among those are the workaround for the
disappearing text bug in Internet Explorer 6 on Windows.

Please note that this security hole isn't *critical* - it allows an
anonymous user to manipulate a particular part of your site setup, but not
the entire site. As an administrator, you can also undo any changes made,
so very limited damage is possible, but we are encouraging everybody to
upgrade.
