I may have misunderstood something, but on my vanilla Plone 4.0 site,
Archetypes objects are not UUID-aware by default. Per the
documentation, one would have to make a class declaration either in
ZCML or in code.

To make things easier, I thought it better just to fall back to the
pre-2.1 behavior and use the UID() method.
