Right, we have such roundtrip import/export for Silva.

How do you envision working together with FTP views with this? If you 
were to expose the complete export of an object, including workflow 
state and so on to FTP, the only person who should be allowed edit such 
an object through FTP is a very powerful one who has rights to twiddle 
*all* the state of an object.

What about, for instance, XSLT views on particular objects? If you 
provide those, for security and convenience reasons you may not want to 
export *all* state to the XML representation of an object. Is there some 
way to restrict what gets exported?
