while I think it's great to 'fix' things, I also think we should
discuss some issues a bit more, instead of just fixing at will... ;-)
What I'm trying to say here is that this is a long standing issue[1],
at least 4 months now, and probably there's a bunch of others related.
So, these are my questions:
a) Why not raise discussion on mailing lists (and get consensus)?
b) Why not check the tracker and comment on appropriate issues and
close issues when need?
c) Is this the Right Way™ to fix the issue?
d) Are there any other tags that also should be included?
One that has commit access *must* be aware of all resources, including
the mailing lists for discussions and the tracker for the pending
issues.
I'm not censuring you, I just think the community should walk a bit
more together and get involved in all possible aspects... ;-)
This away we can save a lot of time because we'll be fixing things
the way everyone agreed and consequently we'll be also reducing the
number of open issues at tracker.
PS: I'm a big fan of you panjunyong (and you great fixes), I just
want you (and everyone possible) closer to the community! :-)
