Raphael PS: nevertheless I find it stupid how this method is implemented. IMHO it does too many things. So if you override, you need to take care to reproduce this all (valid id checking etc). When overriding in your custom class here, you copy/paste/modify which in my mind almost alway calls for some refactoring.
