  we have to invest some time there to find a good parser. There come  
some criteria to my mind for switching to another XMI parser:

1. must be implemented in python (or at least have a good python  
binding)
2. must be better than the current one
3. broad support of MOF/XMI/UML features


there appeared from a quick look some candidates which seem worth a  
closer look:

- SMW which has been adopted by the pymerase project (http:// 
sourceforge.net/projects/pymerase) - unfortunately inactive for about  
2 years
- picorine (http://www.lifl.fr/~marvie/Software.html)
- Coral (http://mde.abo.fi/tools/Coral/) - yeah they have a Plone  
site ;)
