It's interesting that you seem so interested in taking Gensis forward when you
also seem to be in the camp for whom model-driven development isn't the right
approach. :-)

I'd just again suggest that you offer a little more modest advice rather than
complain so loudly about the way things have been done to date. I'm sure Reinout
would find it easier to act on advice that was worded constructively rather than
simply pronouncing that the code isn't yet in a very stable or even properly
designed phase (not so surprising) and that the method the design has been
progressed with to date doesn't suit you (fair enough). Not that you haven't
*also* done this, but it's easy to take the tone of what you write the wrong
way, and thus lose any valuable insight you offer.

I very much doubt the intention is to have Genesis be developed completely with
AGX. I can also understand if you have high expectations for software and find
it frustratingly incomplete. But two trips a week on a train isn't exactly the
kind of time you'd expect to produce miracles in a couple of months. If you can
support the development, I think this would be very valuable - Genesis is
important, and really should learn from many of AGX's mistakes.
