The CA lets us have the best of both worlds, a simple folder implementation and a resable sorting adapter that works on any folder however simple or complex. I suggest storing persistent sort parameters in an annotation, and making an implementation (or at least a set of interfaces) that might be useful in a pure zope3 environent.
