FileSystemStorage interaction with manage_copy|pasteObjects()

Copying and pasting AT objects using FSS basically works fine as long as 
you copy the objects directly. How when you copy/paste a folder containing 
AT
objects using FSS then the content on the filesystem is not copied over to 
the new object. I tried some hacks to workaround this problem however I got 
stuck at some point. Anyone having had similar problems or a solution for 
this issue?
