Created yet another virign instance and edited... With some effort got the Archetypes 1.3.9-final bundle to work with CMFCore 1.6.1 + CMFFormController 2.0.4 + CMFQuickInstallerTool 1.5.9 + PortalTransforms 1.3.10-final Observations: had to add CMFFormController- knew that a while ago, documented somewhere- and import errors pointed me to installing CMFQuickInstallerTool, PortalTransforms some (but not all) calls to translate fail- I replaced the failing calls with the default text tests for "visCondition" failed- testCondition(here, portal, template) complained about there being no "portal"- so I made that always true There is no calendarDatePickerBox available, can't set Expiration or Effective Date There is no portal_properties/site_properties Got a rejectAnonymous error when trying to edit the metadata within the portal, even though I was logged in and both owner and manager- removed that reference ... educational... I suspect that if it takes a couple hours for a Zope newbie like myself to make AT work with pure CMF albiet in a somewhat broken manner, then an experienced CMF/Archetypes developer can do so in a working manner without much pain, and have a few good thoughts in the process. If there's still no interest in that, please document AT as a Plone product. off to actually do something useful with this thing... Using Tomcat but need to do more?
