I don't really understand what this means.  Does this mean (in the case
of #1) you do ISchema(someobj.somefield) to get a field or something?

I'm simply not connecting the dots here.  Perhaps some examples or use
cases would help.

I think once I understand this perhaps the rest of the proposal will
make more sense to me.
