Oh I misunderstood.  Thought you intended on putting this in AT 1.4 and
1.5 (which made me assume you would do it in 1.4 first).  Unfortunately
I have zero time these days :(

Maybe later on I'll have time to help you backport, but I can't promise
anything atm :(
