Help on scrolling document content

Hi all,
I'm triyng to have a plone site with only the central column scrolling.

My first attempt is reported in the snippet below (a change in 
plone.css.dtml).

It works but my proble is that I'n not able to determine the height of 
the viewport.
I used a fixed height of 300 pixel, but this can be too mach or to less 
as you cange the screen resolution, the browser, the visible toolbars in 
the browser and so on.

Anyone can help me in solve this problem?
