Hi guys,

First of all, thanks to all of you who have been doing some very impressive
work in developing Plone. I'm new to this list and quite new to Zope / Plone
as well. I love it so far. I'll do my best to contribute with my experiences
once I get a hang on it.

So far everything is going fine. I have some problems though finding my way
through all the CSS-styles. I'm trying to do a very exact design where
everything is positioned to the pixel. This would be a simple task using
div-layers, but since I'm using a centered design I had to go for tables and
spacer gifs.

Now to my problem... I have a table that renders as:

<table width="760" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"
align="center">
    <tr>
        <td bgcolor="#FFFFFF"><img
src="http://127.0.0.1/plone/images/util/spacer.gif" border="0" alt=""
width="10" height="2" /></td>
   </tr>
    <tr>
        <td>... etc

The first row that should be two pixels high renders as about 10 pixels
high.

I tried to remove "plone.css", which obviously ruins most of the design, but
it made the blank row look like intended. Does anyone know if there is a
style that set a margin to images or table cells or something? Was this
intended to be done in some other way? I've seen examples of people who
apply a text style to blank spaces, with font-size and line-height set to
one pixel...

Thanks in advance to anyone who would guide me in the right direction.

/ Jakob.
