the output of kupu (previously known as EpozNG 1.0.x - not ready for 
plone 2 yet, but hopefully soon) is xhtml compliant and if you restrict 
it, by customizing it, to basic html it should be easy, i think.

haven't done this on my own, and i haven't ever looked at kupus (or 
epozngs) code, but i guess you'll "just" need to rip out the formatting 
and table stuff.

i cc'ed this to the list because i'm not the best one to ask, since i'm 
a webstandard fetishist :)
