html and css code bloat

Hey all,
Maybe this has come up before, but there is a potentially significant
speed boost to be had by stripping out comments and unnecessary
whitespace from our html and css on page generation. Specifically, it
looks like our code could be trimmed by about one-third. Here's the
numbers for plone.org's homepage, and plone.css:
original trimmed bloat % bloat

css 24k 19k 8k 33
Are there any Zope or python products for this?
