New look & feel of plone.org

Can someone give a relative newbie some guidance about trying to duplicate 
the new look & feel of plone.org (e.g navigation portlet, 
smal//normal/large text roll overs).  Is it a simple matter of modifying 
the ploneCustom.css on my Plone 2.0.3 site to match that of 
http://plone.org/plone.css?  Will the next release of Plone have these UI 
changes incorporated?
