Discussion of submitted PLIPs: - Approved 13561: Collections: folderish plus migration from Topic to Collection (probably needs a bit of modification since the default content type system will be plone.app.contenttypes) - Approved 13476: New widgets for Plone (plone.app.widgets) and separated admin (plone.app.toolbar) - Approved 13679: Automatic CSRF Protection - Discussion of PLIP 13705 (Remove BASE tag from rendered html). Generally in favor of finding a way to accomplish this, but we want the PLIP to include a plan for how to avoid breaking relative links. Deferred approval for now. - Discussion of PLIP 13700 (Change to session plugin on zope acl_users replacement). Generally in favor, but some team members still need to vote. Plone 5 update: - David has been trying to get the Plone 5 branch working with plone.app.contenttypes as the default content type system and passing tests. He needs help. The tricky part is that there are many tests which assume the presence of a test layer which includes ATContentTypes. Sprint updates: - Four Digits is planning a sprint or marathon in Arnhem in November, and Timo Stollenwerk is planning a sprint in Cologne in February. The FWT supports designating these as strategic sprints because of their potential to contribute significantly to the development of Plone 5. Key topics that need work for Plone 5 are: plone.app.widgets, plone.app.toolbar, converting CMF skin layer scripts and formlib forms into browser views and z3c.form forms. - Rok Garbas noted an upcoming virtual sprint, the Pacific Rim (westside) sprint, which will work on plone.app.widgets and plone.app.toolbar and be timed for participation from Asian timezones. https://plus.google.com/events/ckrjsf9ai5ah9cqgt2bj3thjcdg?authkey=CIbxvOT1u52G0AE Action items for team members: - Take another look and vote on PLIP 13091 (multilingual); Ramon said it has been updated - Rok will set up the next meeting for Sept. 3 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Introducing Performance Central, a new site from SourceForge and AppDynamics.
