First I used the plone.app.collection variant, now I'am using at the 
moment the plone.app.contenttypes version. But it makes no difference.

The relevant code is in plone.app.querystring. The widgets are in 
plone.formwidget.querystring.

Maybe this together with a red note box in the readme reduces confusion
