Displayed File Type and Size

Good-Day,

I am having a problem when I upload a certain file type, after creating a hyperlink to the file, I'm getting the file type extension as well as its size as seen in the Figure1 below.
Is there way of removing the displayed file type and size? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
