Hi,
After like 17hs traveling and 17hs sleeping I'm sending this mail to all
the people interested into the idea...
I uploaded the code here https://github.com/jpgimenez/collective.libanus
That shouldn't be the real name of the product, just a reminder of the
good time in Brasilia, in fact inside is still c.cover
But I think than there is some good stuff already implemented:
* the get_layout code look at the registry for a layout of the same
name than the portal type, so we can have registered layouts for
p.a.contenttypes and its easy to extend for custom contenttypes.
http://tinyurl.com/p8mz6y8
* there is now a generic tile than uses the id of the tile to indicate
the field than should be rendered, as a drawback or a future, yo can't
render the same field twice... I think than that is a future...
http://tinyurl.com/n9v4dv9
* the tile renders the field in display mode, I think than this is
handy because is easy and fast to implement and then we don't need a
template for every kind of widget... but some times display template of
widget are a lite "basic"... I mean you don't have too much control of the
markup, style, functionality... so I added something than could look a like
bit hacky, but works, I'm checking before the render for a IPageTemplate
for the widget with a "display_<field>" name. This way I can for example
override the template for the title of content but not every TextLine
widget, thanks Rok for the idea... http://tinyurl.com/nm6d7ju
http://tinyurl.com/nufk9e9
Now I'm looking for a real name, maybe collective.layout_view,
collective.behavior.layout, or some cleaver suggestion... then I should
move the package to the collective... at the top of my todo list is to
build a control panel to edit layouts site wide, this should be easy
because is almost the same as the current layout view.
cheers and have a good time sprinting at João Pessoa!
