plone.app.multilingual questions

hi,

i just deployed a plone.app.multilingual 1.x based release candidate for
a customer with archetypes support and have some questions:

- i was trying out plone.app.multilingual 2.0, but decided at some point
to believe the warnings in it's documentation, that it's not production
ready. however: will there be an upgrade path from 1.x to 2.0? is it
safe to use 1.x, or does 2.0 introduce some concepts, which are
backwards incompatible?

- while trying out, i created a archetypes.multilingual 2.0 branch:

the only fixes are import path fixes. there is still much more missing,
like the necessary browser views (e.g. @@add_at_translation referenced
in plone.app.multilingual.browser.add.AddViewTraverser on master).

later, i recalled that the README says: "archetypes.multilingual 2.x is
on extras folder". but there is no extras folder. isn't it ready yet of
forgot someone to push it?

- by the way, what's the reason behind the "devel" folder in pam master
and the "extras" folder? this adds some confusion...

- looks like, that PAM 1.0 doesn't play together with
collective.lineage, when it was used before PAM. this is the traceback:

where the archetypes based lineage subsite resides in. in there, i also
have some dexterity contents.
however, creating a new lineage subsite in a already PAMified site
works. i also get this error when navigating to another subfolder within
the "programm" folder, but then it's more or less swallowed and doesn't
break the rendering.... i have to investigate in that more...
