While I can see some advantage in a media library, this is the main
reason for me that this is a bad idea. Manageing permissions with local
roles and inheritance (sharing tab) is one of the best things about
plone. A media library might be a great idea for a public site with few
editors maintaining the whole site. But it's less than ideal for an
intranet where many users can edit parts of the site.
