I think not many of us actually use Plone on a regular basis. Creating a blogging platform that we actually like to use would help plone a lot just by getting us into the mindset of being the user again :) well that's my thinking anyway. Maintenance would be an issue. But perhaps if it was on the same platform as plone.org that wouldn't be so bad? Another one I'd like to add to the list is online help for Plone.
