GSoC idea: Consistent API for dexterity

We're lacking of a consistent API for writing dexterity types (plus forms).

- in order to write an new dexterity type with its forms and widgets
   one has to import from many different places and packages.
   provide one place to import from.

- even in all the documentation snippets around there are i.e. at least
   3 ways to set/configure/customize a widget

- for simple things one has to write a bunch of classes and much code
   plus zcml

So an consistent API, so one place to import the stuff needed in 90% of 
the cases if someone wants to write a new dexterity types, helps to make 
life easier.

- documentation driven approach: first write docs, then implement.
   (plone.api did this well)

- discussion driven approach: work closely together with our dexterity
   "experts" and the the non-experts, those happy to use a simple API.

- simplify all-day-tasks. where already done, bundle the features in
   one api.

- hide ZCA where possible (i.e. like pyramid does, not like grok does).
   Read: dexterity/z3c.forms are using ZCA imo too much. reduce this to
   a "normal" level (term "normal" is for sure base for discussion)

- please please please grok-free

- advantage: if an implementation changes (i.e. how to configure a
   widget) the api stays the same.

- provide a full featured working example using all features of the new
   api

I'am not sure if this is too much for a student. He needs to be very 
motivated and also needs a motivated mentor (or 2) willed to spent more 
time than on a avergage GSoC project. He also needs good support from 
the community.

But the outcome would be very valuable!
