json api should be (after plone5 release) our next big goal that we need to
achieve. otherwise we'll be screwed. since writing webapps on top of plone is
a horrible experience right now and we are web cms right?

in my opinion json-ld is nice. json-ld is also an extension to json. and also
only one of many options. i would be more then happy to have very simple goal
to have basic json api without anything fancy. but keeping in my that we would
like to build/extend uppon that. json-ld is nice idea, but lets get first the
basic things in place.
