The whole EventAccessor was born out of the idea to support AT and DX based events via one interface. E.g. all browser views work with Archetypes and Dexterity, just by using this IEventAccessor adapter pattern. Listen, plone.app.event works perfectly for me, but I understand your concerns and actually I have a plan how to fix the API inconsistencies (I will write a mail about that plan soon to ask for comments). The project and it's API have been grown over the last four years. I know there are many things to improve and these improvements can go into a 2.0 release. I'd love to hear some constructive critique or at least some issues on Github instead of this shitstorm from you, the inventor of plone.app.event, which has left the project right after the sprint where it was born. > > -aj > > > > -- > View this message in context: http://plone.293351.n2.nabble.com/How-to-edit-dexterity-types-without-needing-to-know-about-their-behaviors-tp7570571p7570658.html > Sent from the Core Developers mailing list archive at Nabble.com. > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Learn Graph Databases - Download FREE O'Reilly Book > "Graph Databases" is the definitive new guide to graph databases and their > applications.
