Mac OS X Mavericks Clang error on unknown option

I just ran into the unknown option issue when building ZODB today. It ends up looking something like:


Getting distribution for 'ZODB3==3.10.5'.
clang: error: unknown argument: '-mno-fused-madd' [-Wunused-command-line-argument-hard-error-in-future]
clang: note: this will be a hard error (cannot be downgraded to a warning) in the future
error: Setup script exited with error: command 'cc' failed with exit status 1
An error occurred when trying to install ZODB3 3.10.5. Look above this message for any errors that were output by easy_install.
While:
Installing.
Getting section instance.
Initializing section instance.
Installing recipe plone.recipe.zope2instance.
Getting distribution for 'ZODB3==3.10.5'.
Error: Couldn't install: ZODB3 3.10.5



to fix this, do the following:


export CFLAGS=-Qunused-arguments
export CPPFLAGS=-Qunused-arguments
