Re: tiles/blocks

Hi,
I've been exploring the use case you've exposed for include such
functionality in the new plone.org. In fact, I believe it's a common use
case mainly for home pages or sub-home pages. The first answer to the
question was to use c.cover or a tool alike, making use of tiles and
blocks. However, in the project one requirement is that all the development
should be easily ported to Plone 5 as soon as it would be ready.

I do not think that the tiles/blocks and c.cover-like products story would
be ready for Plone 5 (widgets, etc) in quite some time, so I've been
looking for other more lightweight and realistic solutions.

I will be in Sorrento, maybe we should have a talk about it and discuss it
together!
