Better: please redirect (in order):

http://developer.plone.org/reference_manuals/external/(.*)

  to

http://docs.plone.org/external/\1

AND

http://developer.plone.org/(.*)

  to

http://docs.plone.org/develop/plone/\1

There are a small number (few to handful, I suspect) of automated
redirects that will work more often than not (for any *developer*
docs), and then you can deal with the 404s on docs.plone.org when it
does not.
