Updating 

plone.app.event 1.1 -> 1.2.4
plone.app.widgets 1.4.0 -> 1.5.0

once again broke our existing functionality on the JS level (screenshot
attached).
So we had to revert the update and all is good again.

I truly have no further clue with versions are really supposed to work
together with Plone 4.3.
What's  more frustrating is the fact that the internal devs of the customer
are getting more afraid and scared by Plone and the current state writing
Plone applications with Dexerity. Please no further comments about
"work-in-progress" etc. All these projects started in some way on top of
Plone 4.3 and now the development seems to have shifted heavily towards
Plone 5.0 and the personal feeling is that support for Plone 4.X will be
left behind or dropped.
