Help needed with CMFEditions pull request

Hi all,

there is an old open pull request (dated 2012-06-14) trying to fix a 2 
day older bugreport with priority major.

Funny part: It still ready for merge.

But I fear to merge it, because I'am not deep enough into CMFEditions to 
decide it and the involved commenters arent so too afaics.

So HELP is needed to REVIEW and MERGE this one.
