Historically speaking, successful applicants for GSOC projects for Plone
have developed some connection to the Plone community before applying. Are
you interested in Content Management Systems or in Python web applications?
If so, explore Plone and learn something about its development. You'll be
well positioned when the time for GSOC applications arrives.
