Why does TinyMCE Upload not notify the Zope event system?

Hi,

I am fiddling around with Images that are uploaded/created by the user
on my plone site. I handle ObjectInitializedEvents, which works great,
except for Images uploaded through TinyMCE. TinyMCE uses invokeFactory,
but does not notify the Zope event system, as recommended (once upon a
time) by:

I'd like to know if there is a specific reasoning that TinyMCE Uploads
don't notify - am I missing something? Is this intentional?
