fwiw, I prefer smaller manuals instead of one gigantic one.  Think modular.
Besides, I think a manual on Archetypes (for example) would be big
enough on its own, without making it one large chapter in one even
bigger manual.
Ultimately though, it's Israel's call as he's the editor for this section.
