Yes thats true, but there are major difficulties in merging Silva and Plone together.

As mentioned in an other post from me the project stalled a bit in the past, since all of the member companies invested a lot of time and money so far and it was very hard to find sponsorships.
Here at BlueDynamics a lot of technical work was done behind the scenes and Georg Pleger, responsible for standardization and didactic stuff, was quiet busy with networking between Cetis, EUN, some Universities.

As mentioned above, Plone and Silva are not easy to combine, but in things of XML we hopefully will be able to announce next week breaking news.

EduZope follows two main targets. To keep the Software as free as possible and mainly under GPL, and to be standards compliant.

But everyone who is interested is welcome to contact us directly, either me or Georg Pleger from the University of Innsbruck (Georg.Pleger-6WDnQFJhonGzZXS1Dc/[email protected]) who is mainly responsible for all the networking between different educational institutions like universities and schools.
