[ rfernandes ]: --------------------- > >Thanks Rodrigo. > >Are these tutorials compatible with Plone 3.0.x? Maurizio has already answered. Those links were just a place to start. >Is anyone insterested in help building a product for Universities and >Institutes where Professors (or Laboratories coordinators) could have a >content type to create their Class pages (or laboratory pages) with >predefined fields to have some consistency between each >class/laboratory pages. For Plone 2.x this is a matter of creating appropriate Archetypes products IMVHO. I have not tried Plone 3 yet. >I'm thinking in the following structure: > >Research Division (Folder) -> Laboratory (Folder) -> Laboratory pages >(Pages) >or >Department (Folder) -> Course/Class (Folder) -> Course/Class pages >(Pages) I believe each institution will have a (sligthly) different structure. You may get away with using default Folders and Pages and enforcing a policy, instead of customizing products. The latter is not rocket science, but it takes time to get it right. best regards, Rod Senra
