Hi all,
To continue the code contribution discussion from the post
Ploneability event last week, there's now a wiki post at
http://www.plone4universities.org/wiki/ContributingCode
I've started conversations at the University of Louisville about
intellectual property (IP), etc., and now know *who* to talk to about
shaking the IP code contribution tree. The IP folks will want to know
what the contributor's agreement will look like.
It's not obvious the Plone Foundation and Plone Core contributor's
agreement will cover and education-focused collective-like set of
code. So what we need is some defined process to pool our resources
together to legally free and protect each other (possibly a plone4edu
foundation?)
Let's just start the discussion. Thanks!
-Kurt
