Hello,

sorry for the week delay !

- Install.Plone.Dependencies
- Openshift
- Openstack
- UI-GUI-Installer

Install.Plone.Dependencies
------------------------------------------
/
/Alessandro was so kind do write it down on:

http://www.coactivate.org/projects/europython-plone-sprint-2013/project-home

Basically we gave install.plone.dependencies
[https://github.com/collective/install.plone.dependencies] our
attention with the goal to finish what we started at PLOG this year.

We have now a working release of install.plone.dependencies.

It is well tested with Debian and Ubuntu.

Todo:

- testing with centos
- finish dryrun option

Maybe there is a way to include it [as option ?] into the UI-Installer ?

Openshift
---------------

Giacomo Spettoli and Me, we had a friendly chat with one of the
Openshift developers about the possibility to have a official plone
openshift cartridge and it is possible the question is if we want that,
cause this will take up quite some time work and effort so I am not sure
about this.

Openstack
----------------

Paul Roeland came up with the idea to create an plone openstack
image/installer. I already started playing with it and it looks nice, it
would be really awesome go get now somewhere a openstack account to try
it out, for testing i currently use devstack

UI-GUI-Installer
----------------------

Here is a very early proof of concept:

   https://github.com/svx/plone-gui-installer

My idea is to use a layer of whiptail scripts on top the UI-Installer,
so we do not touch the UI-Installer at all ! I also will include
plone.install.dependencies, I started that as a result of the
discussions which we had at the installer open space at the ploneconf
last year.

Cheers

Sven
