At least on my test instance using the versions.cfg provided:

Go to  Site Setup --> Theming and boommm

"We’re sorry, but there seems to be an error…"

Version Overview
    Plone 5.0a2 (5001)
    CMF 2.2.7
    Zope 2.13.22
    Python 2.7.3 (default, Feb 27 2014, 19:58:35) [GCC 4.6.3]
