I pushed the changes. The master branch is now Plone 5 and we have a new 4.3-maintanence branch. I was also looking into this Vagrant topic, installing Vagrant via apt-get in 12.04 will give you vagrant-1.0.1-1 [old] and a really old version of VirtualBox. You can easily install the latest version of both on Ubuntu 12.04, both of them are running fine. I am not sure what would be the better way, I can see people using the older versions, because there are getting them easy via apt-get, but reading though the changelog of Vagrant, using the newer version gives us much more and it is also advised to use them. Thinking a bit further I had also the idea, to create one version with a shared folder, so basically Plone will live in a shared folder which is accessible via the host and the vm, With this setup we could ditch the OSX installer [just a thought] because people like designer could use their usual tools to work on Plone. This is really just an idea I had, I am not proposing we have to ditch our OSX installer right now, but it could be something to brainstorm over if people are interested.
