Hi, ok the one with production is a tricky one :) I never would run Virtualbox in production but yes looks like there are some people doing that. Well, maybe I start with a list of add-ons, I must say I was more focused on development and not on production, because I was thinking about improving the vagrant experience. Plugins: https://github.com/dotless-de/vagrant-vbguest https://github.com/cogitatio/vagrant-hostsupdater https://github.com/fgrehm/vagrant-notify https://github.com/fgrehm/vagrant-cachier https://github.com/fgrehm/vagrant-pristine I for example use all the time: vagrant-hostsupdater, vagrant-vbguest and vagrant-cachier. But as I said I was focusing on development and for me this speeds up my setups and my workflow, also I use always the latest stable vagrant version and do not use the outdated version from Debian or Ubuntu, which I guess lots of people are still doing :) Further there a some settings which you can change in grub, because sometimes grub hangs. The version of Virtualbox: since Ubuntu 14.04 it moved to |multiverse so people have to enable that, but it is also now the 4.3 branch which is good ! Apparently |Debian Stable still comes with an really old version [4.1.x] you can run 4.3 without any problem btw. The same goes for vagrant, Debian is using a really old version [1.0.3-1] Ubuntu is using 1.4.3-1 and the official stable version is 1.6.5 which is running fine on Debian and Ubuntu. Do we have already an idea how we want to tackle this ? Or do we say we want a setup of vagrant which is also running on this old versions, which will be a less cool experience :) Cheers, Sven On 11/25/2014 06:31 PM, Steve McMahon wrote: > Hmmm. > > I'll just ask a couple of questions: > > 1) Does it make it fast enough to use for production?
