And who knows how many things libstdc++ will need...

Argh! Surely someone along the way of testing the Plone 2.0 beta  
releases installed this on RH9. I mean, it's not *that* old. I know  
it's been eclipsed by Fedora, but I don't think that FC1 has been  
around long enough for a production server (or maybe I'm being a bit  
paranoid?).

I'm going attempt to reach this the other way around, by installing  
Python 2.3.3 (either via SRPM from python.org (which apparently will  
require building tk-devel, which isn't included in RH9) or the  
tarball), and then Zope 2.7, and then Plone 2.0.
