The problem is that os.stat returns the size even of folders. Pythons
tarfile inserts this size in the tarball entries for folders. Usually
the tar extractors read this n bytes after the start of the entry. This
is of course wrong for folders and should be ignored by the tar extracor
(as *nix tar does it) in case when the folder flag is set. As it isnt
the case for most tar extractors pythons tarfile should set the size for
folders _anytime_ to zero. Then it should work. I will patch tarfile in
the dist_plone script to do so. Probably we should report this to the
python community. I suppose it will work then.
