I have tried editing zone.conf without success. What do I edit where?
Is there a help file to expalin how to setup Plone?

Oh I see whats happening.  You need to edit the zope.conf file
and change the listen-ip.  This is not a Zope vs Plone issue.
So what you are missing is the understanding of network card
interface: localhost is a "loopback", your ip address is not
the loopback interface.

So look at your zope configuration file.

You can also look at Enfold Enterprise Proxy or other
ISAPI-centric rewrite/proxy plugins so you can wire up
Zope to IIS.  Then you can use your familiar tools such
as IIS to setup HTTPS, etc.

This is a Zope issue; I believe we can extend the Plone
installer to "fix" this issue or at least provide a better
default.  I actually like localhost.  So ultimately
I think we should put this into the documentation area of
plone.org.

In fact from zope.conf I found:
# Directive: ip-address
#
# Description:
#     The default IP address on which Zope's various server protocol
#     implementations will listen for requests. If this is unset, Zope
#     will listen on all IP addresses supported by the machine. This
#     directive can be overridden on a per-server basis in the servers
#     section.
#
# Default: unset
#
# Example:
#
#    ip-address 127.0.0.1

you could change the ip-address manually there; there is a deeper issue.
I *prefer* not to listen to all addresses by default (for security
purposes).
