Hello, I am the Debian/Ubuntu maintainer of Plone; as you know, we just released Lenny and this means that we can go ahead uploading new upstream release into testing/unstable. I had a look at Plone 3.2.1, but I couldn't find the source (.tar.gz). To package it for Debian/Ubuntu, we need to start from the source code (tar.gz) and compile it to produce binary packages. The python eggs distributed on dist.plone.org are not "source code", and are not usable to build the package. Do you have any idea about how I can get a monolithic source package I can build the packages from? Note: I know that usually Plone developers do not like the debian/ubuntu packages, but I think that having plone running after something like "aptitude install plone3" is a good starting point for debian/ubuntu users, and they can switch to something else (eg. the unified installer) later on if they want to. Thanks in advance. -- Fabio Tranchitella <[email protected]> .''`.
